Next Meet Up Monday is on Monday 6th February 10.30 - 12 in the Community Hall.  Let us know if you need a lift.  We look forward to seeing you for coffee/tea, cake and chat!

Requests for a lift, particularly to hospital and doctor appointments, have started to increase and we continue to do our best to respond to these.  If you need a prescription picking up from the surgery, or some shopping delivered, just give us a ring. Or if you would just appreciate a friendly voice at the end of a phone we’re here to chat.

Film Night - 17th February

Where the Crawdads Sing

Based on the best-selling novel, this is the story of Kya, an abandoned girl who raised herself to adulthood in the dangerous marshlands of North Carolina. For years, rumors of the “Marsh Girl” haunted Barkley Cove, isolating the sharp and resilient Kya from her community. Drawn to two young men from town, Kya opens herself to a new and startling world; but when one of them is found dead, she is immediately cast by thecommunity as the main suspect. As the case unfolds, the verdict as to what actually happened becomes increasingly unclear, threatening to reveal the many secrets that lay within the marsh.
